The Biggest English Event at Danesh School:
“Danesh English Seminar”

At Danesh School, we believe that practicing English through public speaking and presentation not only strengthens our students’ language skills, but also significantly boosts their self-confidence, motivation, and ability to communicate effectively in real-life situations. The English Seminar has been designed and organized by our English Department precisely to fulfill these educational goals.

This highly anticipated event is held every year and is attended by all students, teachers, and families. The final presentations represent the very best of our students’ work — not only in terms of language accuracy and content richness but also in the quality of delivery, visual materials, and presentation skills.

Let’s have a quick overview on the “English Seminar,” held today (January 28, 2026) at our school.

The preparation process began in the classroom. All the students selected a topic of personal interest, with the guidance and support of their English teacher. They then began researching and preparing their presentation. The first phase culminated in an in-class presentation, where students presented their work in front of their classmates.

Once all classroom presentations were complete, teachers selected a few outstanding presentations demonstrating high potential in terms of content, delivery, and language use to be featured in the final phase — the “English Seminar” itself.

During the seminar, all finalists presented their work in English before a large audience. A panel of four judges evaluated the presentations based on a variety of criteria including content quality, English proficiency, computer work, delivery skills, eye contact, and the ability to engage the audience. In addition, the audience was invited to vote for their favorite presentation in a special “Audience Choice” segment.

At the end of the seminar, during the closing ceremony, the school principal, academic vice principal, grade counselors, and judges recognized and awarded the top-performing students. These awards celebrated excellence in language use, presentation quality, and the overall academic value of the students’ work.

We are proud to say that the Language Seminar has become a powerful platform for nurturing confidence, creativity, and academic excellence among our students. It offers them a rare opportunity to think critically, express themselves fluently in English, and compete in a spirit of positivity and growth. It is, indeed, a golden opportunity — a day in which the entire school comes together to celebrate language, learning, and student achievement.
