31 apparently useless car logo facts by Shervin Amyari! ( Also known as Shervin the yapper. )
1# Did you know that there are no Tesla logos anywhere on the Cyber Truck, Yeah they say it’s its own thing.
2# The horse on the Porsche logo is a symbol of Stuttgart where Porsche is from that makes perfect sense right? However Ferrari’s logo is also the symbol of Stuttgart, no way it’s the same horse, right? Here’s how that happened, there was this Italian Ace pilot from World War I Francesco Baraka, who (out of respect) painted the Stuttgart horse on his plane after shooting down a rival pilot from (well you know where), years later Baraka’s mother approached Enzo Ferrari suggesting that he should also put a horse on his racing car for good luck, he did and the car won, and the rest is history!
3# These Baraka Ferrari badges first appeared on racing Alfa Romeo models, Enzo was their race driver and later even a team principal. But it wasn’t until 13 years later that the logo would finally appear on the first Ferrari car
4# Although Koenigsegg uses the founders family crest for the logo you also see these ghost on their cars too ghost were the Swedish Elite Fighter Squadron whose abandoned Airfield and Hangers got converted into Koenigsegg’s Factory and the test track.
6# About that Kia logo when it first started showing up on cars people got really confused suddenly Googling what’s that KN car became a thing.
7# Instead of the usual badges, the Porsche GT3 RS have stickers since drilling holes in a carbon fiber hood can easily break the structure.
8# The multi-million doll Aston Martin Valkyrie is also concerned about the weight of its badges but having a sticker is just not fitting for a car of such price, so instead they use a chemical etched film of titanium that’s 30% thinner than a human hair and 99.4% lighter than a regular Aston badge ( I know you understand none of that so basically just the logo of that car has more work put into it than 90% of production cars nowadays. )
9# Speaking of regular Aston badges, they’re not that much less impressive either whereas most other car badges are made of plastic, Astons are real metal still made by hand in a dirty old jewelry shop in Birmingham, it’s done to such quality that in a thousand years the cars May rust away but the badge will remain ( Which is just so crazy, right? )
10# In 1932 2 four German car companies joined together the form Auto Union and when VW acquired that company they renamed it back to Audi but just kept the Union’s four rings logo ( which looks really cool unlike the current production cars of its competitors. )
11# Similar to Audi, six different Japanese companies merged to form the Fuji heavy industries, which later changed its name to Subaru which is the Japanese name for a star cluster which consists of six stars, get it ? six stars – six companies, ok I forgot how dumb the average person reading this is ( according to your very interesting grades .)
12# You think the Toyota logo is just three oval shapes that kind of form the letter T, well using these ovals you can spell out all the other Toyota letters too, t o y o t a, you’re not dumb enough to not understand even that, are you? Ok I’ll stop.
13# Some people believe that the Toyota logo is actually showing a thread going through the eye of a needle as a throwback to their Roots as a loom company, which has never been confirmed but still a cool throwback story though.
14# Hyundai isn’t just an italic Honda Logo, it’s also the dealer and seller shaking hands.
15# The three-pointed Mercedes star symbolizes their drive towards Universal domination of land, sea and air, with their engines basically Germany wants to dominate the world.
16# The Ford logo is simply the Henry Ford signature, sure they cleaned it up a bit but this is where it comes from.
17# Alfa Romeo really does have a snake eating a guy on their logo, it’s a symbol of Milan where Alpha Romeo is from, which is pretty gruesome so they say it’s a birth of a man but we’ve all been to school and learned that this is not how people are born, it’s how they die, we all can relate to being eaten by a snake, right? Too much Harry Potter in my childhood I guess.
18# The BMW logo is not a propeller, yes the company previously built plane engines and yes they made these ads that furthered the myth but according to the BMW’s main archive guy these are just some Bavarian colors inside a black circle, so the kid who thought his theory was correct today, which you made the teacher believe, you know who you are, you have gaslighted the teacher!
19# Bonus fact: the whole Bavarian symbolism is purely not 100% correct either these colors are in the wrong order because German laws prevent anyone from using the national symbols for commercial use, also the tiles on the Bavarian flag are slanted whereas in the BMW logo they’re not, there’s a story to that too, I mentioned that BMW used to make airplane engines, well they did, but back then the company was called rap Motors and their logo was the night chest piece so instead of slanted tiles the BMW logo, has chest tiles, and also, you know who you are, I still haven’t forgiven you for gaslighting the teacher!
20# The pointy part of the Porsche logo on the wheel center cap is always supposed to be pointing at the valve stem, OCD Maybe but, also helpful if you want to know if some used Porsche that you’re interested in has been serviced in an unauthorized garage, just check the wheels!
21# infiniti did not only spell it the wrong way but the symbol is also wrong because that ain’t infinity, this is just some lines representing the road going towards the horizon or as some may say, going infinitely.
22# In Latin the word Volvo means I roll, combine that with this ancient symbol for iron or masculinity and you’ll be pissing off every feminist in the world, better not let em see us rollin’ !
23# Skoda is a car manufacturer from Czechia so naturally their logo is a Native American headdress with feathers on top of an arrow??? Okay I don’t see the connection either, also that logo explanation sound a bit racist.
24# A special edition McLaren speed tail comes with a $65,000 carbon fiber badge with 24 karat gold, make sure you don’t park it in a bad neighborhood if you don’t want problems!
25# Don’t however worry if you end up parking your Rolls Royce in a bad neighborhood (Kind of,) since 2004 if someone tries to steal your spirit of ecstasy it’ll be retracted back under the hood in less than a second, which sounds like a fun toy, until you have to spend the price of an entire car collection just to replace that good ol’ badge of yours!
26# The rear snake badge on the Dodge Viper also serves as the third brake light, there’s another one in the rev counter which glows when you rev it hard, which adds even more aura to the Dodge Viper, such a cool car, am I right? Car guys? Hello?
27# For some reason the famous Jaguar Growler logo on Project 7’s concept car had some really cool sunglasses, too bad that they didn’t stay on the production model...
28# Porsche wanted the 911 to be called the 901 and even presented it as such in the 1963 Frankfurt auto show but Peugeot claimed that three digits with a zero in the middle is kind of our thing and so the added another digit, and therefore the 911 was ( Legally ) born.
29# Despite what the name suggests, the fully electric Porsche Tycan turbo does not have a turbo meanwhile the base 718 which is turbocharged doesn’t have a turbo badge for Porsche, Turbo simply means the fastest version in Porsches, God they’re confusing.
30# Tesla’s logo is not just a letter T but also a cross-section of the electric motor, although Elon later confirmed that it is in fact a cat’s nose!
31# The Aston Martin logo is one of the 28 car logos featuring Wings! You know what else has wings? Or shall I Say who else has wings? Your soul flying away as fast as it physically, or shall I say spiritually can when you get the results of your mid-term exams!
Now, please stop saying that I used AI or just copied a script for this, I did use a recourse obviously, but I added and removed a lot from it, like all of the jokes.
